SEA FOOD FANTASIA: Sunday August 26 (3:00pm – 4:00pm)

Erika Araujo is a trained nurse in Mexico who found her passion for Gastronomy once she migrated to Canada. She studied the Culinary program at Humber College, 4 years ago and since then she has been tirelessly promoting Mexican culture and Traditional Mexican cuisine through her brand Ixiim Toronto. She has a line of Mexican Tamales and she produces Mexican bread. Now she is a Junior chef with the Canadian Culinary Federation of Chefs and Cooks, she teachs Mexican workshops and culinary events like TacoFest, Soupalicious, The Depanneur and the PanAm Games, where she was the only Mexican chef featured.

Erika supports artists,musicians and  other entrepreneurs like her that love to embrace their roots no matter where are they come from. She believes when you keep your traditions, roots and share them, you can create magical things.
